Broken Loaf Food Pantry
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes, and you clothed me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. (From Matthew Ch. 25)
The pantry serves our clients on Saturday mornings from 9-11:00 a.m.
We serve an average of 70 families per week.
Volunteers are needed on a weekly basis.
- Friday mornings from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Volunteers are needed to help with food preparation and to stock the shelves to get ready for the Saturday food pantry service.
- Saturday mornings from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m: Volunteers are needed to help serve the clients.
Volunteers can help by assisting clients with their shopping, help in the clothing room, and support serving of refreshments in the refreshment area. When arriving to volunteer the entrance used is at the back of the church near the kitchen off of Harvey Way.
Donations of food and clothing can be dropped off at the church office from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. For more information you can contact the church office.
